Boil water advisory lifted for Big Tyler area residents in Kanawha County

CHARLESTON, W.VA., October 3, 2008 – West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil water advisory for customers of the Big Tyler area in Kanawha County along Big Tyler Road (Rt. 501) from Victoria Road to Woodrum Lane, including Primrose Drive. Boil Water advisories were issued for this area after crews replaced a waterline in the area.

Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards, and there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption. West Virginia American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event. Customers are encouraged to share this information with other West Virginia American Water customers in the affected area listed above.
